Technical Pre-Sales Specialist - About The Role:

  • The person for this role will take calls from the sales team with opportunities from customers the person will try and understand the customer need and propose a solution
  • You will be the main point of contact for specific technical queries from clients and prospects
  • This role will be client facing and engaging with individuals at all levels within companies of varied sizes both on the phone and face to face
  • Technical scoping at pre-sales stage
  • Pre-sales support of sales team through attending meetings and conducting technical qualification calls
  • Technical design of proposed solutions with assistance from our distribution, vendor and consultancy partners
  • Assisting with pre-implementation activity relating to creation of scope of works, implementation plans etc

Technical Pre-Sales Specialist - About You:

  • Must have a good understanding of the Pre-Sales process and experience in a similar position
  • Must have a wide knowledge of all aspects of IT, including software, networking, servers, network security and cloud
  • Experience with VMWare, Microsoft, HP & Azure and any of the company’s other associated technology would be highly beneficial
  • Must be a strong communicator and able to talk on the phone and in person
  • Must have a clean driving license as from time to time may have to visit customer premises
