This is a fantastic opportunity for a customer focused individual with a real commercial outlook, looking for a great challenge, within one of London's top tourist attractions, the role with test the limits of the best of the best, so the you must have experience of working in a similar multifaceted environment with a large turnover either in a leisure or tourist attraction environment.

Store retailers will be considered but will need to be able to demonstrate experience of large operation, high turnover environment with high staffing levels.

The role:
Reporting to the a commercial operations manager you will have previous experience managing a high volume multi-faceted retail operation, with a turnover of £5m + and a staffing compliment of 80+ (at peak)
Managing across a large gift and service operation, with a mixture of gift shops and concessions across the attraction, this is an excellent opportunity to grow as a multi-site operator.
You will be a commercial, creative thinker, you'll lead the team towards explosive sales and profit, whilst creating a slick and inspiring environment, both for your team to work in and for your customers to shop.
You must be an excellent people manager with superior coaching skills, and a willingness to support the development of your team members.
Service is in the DNA of this organisation and you must be able to deliver an excellent experience at ever customer interaction.
You will need to be flexible with hours as the business is open for longer periods during peak months and the candidate will have to support duty management of the wider operation on a rota basis.

The person:
You will be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work, you will be tenacious, hardworking and reliable.
You will have a willingness to work both indoors and out in all types of weather conditions due to the nature of the operation.
You will have experience motivating a large team either within a multi-site role or within a multi-faceted concession environment with a headcount of 60+
In addition to this you will be a confident communicator with excellent organisational and problem solving skills with a real 'can do' attitude.
Experience of working in a high volume, fast paced retail business is essential.
Highly commercial, super focused and energetic with a proven record of delivering profit.
A problem-solver, data-interpreter and savvy business decision-maker.
A full understanding of profit and loss and the ability to translate it to manage a highly profitable operation.
An unshakably solid planner, with top-notch organisational skills who is ambitious, driven and self-motivated.

Experience:
Previous retail experience working within a leisure or tourist attraction environment.
Proven track record of coaching a team to increase sales and personally delivering excellent results.
A huge commercial focus ensuring that the team are maximising income across a multi-faceted operation with multiple income streams.
Team management skills including proven coaching and performance management skills.
Experience of managing weekly reports and presenting findings to a senior management team.
