We have a vacancy for an experienced Accounts Clerk to join a small and friendly team in Leeds. The role is working in a family owned, well established company who pride themselves on great customer service and a happy working environment.
This role will suit someone who has at least 3 years experience in an accounts department, someone who is looking for a stable career and happy to work as part of a small, friendly team.
The Role: Reporting into the Finance Director the working hours are 8:30 am - 5 pm Monday to Friday.
The main tasks include:
- Invoicing - checking, input, production and presentation to customers
- Customer account queries: investigation and resolution
- Credit notes
- Debtor receipt reconciliation
- Production and issuing of monthly customer statements
- Chasing outstanding debts and retentions
