Graduate with: • Experience in supporting applications and software to achieve agreed Incident resolution targets. • Good to have knowledge of delivering application changes into the test, Live and DR environments. • Excellent Root Cause Analysis & problem solving skills • Working knowledge of Microsoft products like SCCM, SQL Server 2014/2016 and troubleshooting of SSIS,SSRS packages • Good understanding of supporting tasks in SDLC (Software development life cycle) • Advanced skills in writing SQL queries and PowerShell scripts • Strong team player with excellent communications skills • Working knowledge in the use of BMC Remedy, TFS or any other ITSM tools • Good level of skills in the use of Microsoft Office products • ITIL V3 Foundation Certification in Service Management • Excellent knowledge of Windows Desktop & Server Operating Systems • Experience of Maintenance and creation of support documentation • Excellent understanding and working knowledge of server and desktop virtualization technologies • A-Level qualification in computer science • Exposure to automation and DevOps environment will be a great advantage • Good to have experience of working in banking/financial domain.

Key Responsibilities include: • Support applications and software to achieve agreed Incident resolution targets. • Managing IT Changes in test, production and DR environments. • Carry out root cause analysis of problems to agreed Problem RCA targets. • Deliver application changes into the test, Live and DR environments where required. • Troubleshooting and recovery of .NET based thick and thin clients accessing Microsoft SQL Server databases. • Subject matter expert, provides advice and guidance on the correct application of technologies • Execution and maintenance of application schedules in BAU environments based primarily around MS-DOS batch scripting and some VB Scripting. • Providing second line support of third party software used in iPSL. • Communicating and working with other IT teams. • Supporting business change. • Providing support for disaster recovery tests. • Maintenance and creation of support documentation.

Willing to travel in UK, Europe or India including possible temporary relocation to undertake project work

Working hours: 37.5 hours/week
