Great Brand. Great Product. Great Culture. Rapidly expanding retailer requires people focused Deputy Managers/Assistant Managers in South Essex. Up to £21,000 per annum + up to 12.5% yearly bonus + benefits + training + progression opportunity.

Locations: Brentwood, Basildon, Grays, Billericay, Rayleigh, Wickford, Romford, Hornchurch, Chipping Ongar & South Woodham Ferrers.

This retailer, who has plans to open 100+ new stores in the next 3 years, wants to make every customer feel as if they're the most special person in store. The aim is for them to leave with a smile and look forward to coming back time and time again. As deputy/assistant store manager, your friendly nature and ability to motivate others to provide brilliant service will turn every customer into a loyal customer.

You will manage all aspects of the store and help deliver the most amazing shopping experience. You work closely with the store manager, contributing to the store's financial performance, finding ways to increase sales and doing in-store promotions. You will also look after orders and deliveries, and help recruit new team members.

It's a lot like being a store manager. In fact, you'll stand-in for the store manager when they're away. The role is about 'doing', getting stuck in to deliver a great customer experience, and 'leading' - managing your team leaders, and coaching and developing your team, which will help prepare you for a store management position.

You should come from a customer service background, ideally within the retail, catering or hospitality sectors, and have worked in a management position. As well as having a commercial mind, you'll need to be passionate about helping customers, and have lots of ideas on how to get the best out of your team. Finally, you will be a great planner and organiser and a clear communicator.
