Two opportunities have become available for Junior BI Analysts. The Junior BI Analyst is responsible for supporting the development of a range of BI assets that make up the BI Fulfillment Channels, for carrying out statistical analysis of business performance and for assisting and coaching team members. The Junior BI Analyst will contribute to the generation of KPI and dashboard outputs for key operational and business activities, applying varied methods to highlight and contextualise business trends.

The Junior BI Analyst will be a key point of contact between the team and internal and external stakeholders and service providers. They will be responsible for the collection and documentation of requirements for internal and external customers to support the development of new and existing Business Intelligence reports and assets. The role holder will support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the BI Reporting assets, including performance tuning reporting queries as well as data integration (validation and cleaning).

The role holder will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of operational reports, dashboards, and ad hoc requests. They will also regularly deliver derived insights from business performance metrics to support and improve business operations and services. Further to this they will be responsible for developing and establishing strong and effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The Junior BI Analyst will be involved on an ongoing basis in providing support and training to the team and business units on BI tools and developed assets. You will be required to take a role in activities to promote the adoption of self-service BI assets across the business that have been produced by the team and will assist in identifying and making efficiency improvements wherever possible.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of Dimensional Modelling, exposure to writing queries in TSQL and have a high level of proficiency in MS Excel (preferably some knowledge of PowerPivot and DAX). They will also have evidence of taking a proactive approach in problem solving and will most likely be a graduate in a numerical or computer oriented subject.
