Lead teams. Develop skills. Improve performance.

Making sure our customers have the best experience in our shops (yes, that’s all 2,400) is a real team effort and as Business Performance Manager, you’ll be a key part in this.

Managing around seven local shops as well as growing market share isn’t something we take lightly. You’ll need to be a tenacious and outgoing leader, taking pride in your work and your shops - you’ll engage your teams in our strategic vision and align with any promotional activity. And with over 60 campaigns across the year, there’ll be plenty to keep you busy (not forgetting your daily shop visits).

As a natural leader you’ll act as support for your teams by sharing knowledge, ideas and experiences and you’ll work closely with HR in managing employee relations.

You’ll have a great relationship with your management team making sure that each of your shops represents William Hill in the best way possible adhering to all visual merchandising and brand guidelines. Equally important will be your head for numbers, commercially-minded, you’ll make sure your shops hit their KPIs and pass their audits with flying colours.

You’ll have already worked in a retail and customer service environment and can show us your experience in driving sales and profitability. Management of teams and being a naturally-organised person will be instrumental in your success; and as you’ll be visiting all your shops on a weekly basis, you will need your own transport and a full driving licence.

Sound interesting?

There are two elements to our application process. The first is an online assessment, looking at your potential to be a success, as well as your capability today. It’s so important to make sure we find people who aren’t just great at what they do - but who share our values and ambitions too. You should allow approximately 25-30 minutes to complete this assessment, although it is untimed.

If you do well, and the feelings mutual, the second part of the process is a face-to-face interview. This is your opportunity to showcase your capability and bring your approach and personality to life.
