We are working on behalf of an international organisation to recruit a Graduate Sports Product Executive for their office based in Dunstable, Bedfordshire. The role offers an excellent opportunity to gain an understanding of the licensed sports industry, as well as gain an abundance of experience of the sports product life-cycle. PLEASE NOTE: It is essential that candidates have either:

  • A business related degree with a strong interest in sport or
  • A strong interest in sport coupled with some previous relevant COMMERCIAL work experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with suppliers in the Far East to help negotiate pricing, confirm product design and ensure timely delivery of all orders.
  • Manage the licensed approval process for License portfolio.
  • Assist with product development for all licensed sports products.
  • Develop a strong knowledge of the licensed sport market and of the wider sports market.
  • Gain knowledge of the licensing industry and understand how key processes work.
  • Analyse sales data to ensure the product range is being maximised to its full potential.
  • Assist with fitness brand and gain a knowledge of the UK fitness market

Candidate requirements:

  • A graduate with a degree related to Business or Sports
  • Excellent Communication - Have the ability to coordinate with multiple departments of the company.
  • A keen interest in sports, in particular football.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and perform under pressure.
  • Good IT skills, experience using Excel and competent with basic formulas.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
