Your new company
This well-known electronics company are seeking an additional relational database developer to help drive their engineering structure forward. You will be working from their head office location in Poole and will be a key part of the IT team.
Your new role
You will be working within a small team to program relational databases and applications. The company is driven by its IT systems so you will be expected to identify new opportunities for improvements on a continual basis.
Your role will involve data analysis and production of technical documentation to aid other users of systems in the business.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a role focussed on relational database development whilst gaining exposure to other systems and best practices. Not only this but the morale around the office is great and it's a truly positive place to go to work.
What you'll need to succeed
My client is looking for solid experience programming relational databases, be it SQL Server, FileMaker, MySQL, Oracle etc. You will be working with cross platform database software so as long as you are comfortable with moving into this space you will be considered.
On top of this the role will involve customer / client liaison so strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Candidate from graduate level to senior level will be considered if you display the right attitude and are proficient working with database development projects.
What you'll get in return
You will be offered a salary between £25000-£35000, plus a company pension and a generous holiday allowance. There is free parking and the company will be flexible with your requirements as they are a small business.
