Sheridan Maine are currently working with an internationally recognised business in the Insurance industry, who are looking to add an exceptional Assistant Accountant to their growing Finance Team. This is your chance to join a genuine market leader.

As an Assistant Accountant, you will be given a role with plenty of variety as well as the chance to study or continue studying towards being a Chartered Accountant.

Duties will include:

- Produce and assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- VAT.
- Quarterly reporting.
- Business forecasts.
- Liaising with clients, Auditors and internal teams.
- Tax returns.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant role.
- AAT Qualified with the desire to study towards CIMA / ACCA.
- Advanced Excel user.
- Sector experience is desirable.
- Exposure to a Corporate environment.
