Solutions Consultant - £35,000 /£45,000 - Oxford
I'm seeking a Solutions Consultant to join one of the UK's fastest growing digital learning start-ups. My client are a R&D company for learning & performance technology. Their software helps organisations from all sectors design, develop and deliver better online learning experiences for people who want to change their lives through learning.
They've been recognised as a potential challenger to the status quo in our industry and won awards throughout the world for their work.
They advocate for Open Source software; their products are used by some of the most innovative companies in the world.
They are looking for a Solutions Consultant to work closely with our development team to understand customer requirements and design solutions that make the most of their next generation learning platform.
Day-to-day, you'll be keeping yourself out of mischief by:
* Analysing customer requirements
* Liaising with developers to design solutions that make the best of our software
* Creating wireframes to help clients visualise customisations
* Sketching user journeys for new processes
* Developing Unified Data Definitions to map existing systems to our schemas
* Working with Project Managers to align resources
* Reviewing deliverables to ensure customer requirements have been met
Whilst you might not be a developer yourself, you will be a keen advocate and follower of web technology. It's likely you will have a good first degree in Computer Science or Information Systems but it's not required. What is required is a solid foundation in systems thinking, knowledge of the latest enterprise software trends and the capability to hold technical conversations with both customers and developers. If you've worked in digital learning before you will find yourself with a great advantage in this role. But it's not needed; the lingo here is something you can pick up.
What's harder to pick up is the nuance it takes to balance the needs of customers and developers, to act as the translator between the technical and the not so technical. That means, above everything else, our Solutions Consultants are really effective communicators, at their best when asked to solve difficult problems with limited resources.
To find out more about this exciting company please apply using the link above/below, I'll then contact you to discuss further.
