What they are looking for

This role is well suited to someone with a background in the web, specifically project managing web builds, with experience using WordPress - with Magento an added bonus.

Good organisation of your own work, being able to switch between sites and tasks, and responding to clients’ requests quickly are key skills in this role. Unflappable, professional and upbeat telephone and face to face presence is a must and a passion for both people and technology ideal.

The role and your responsibilities

This role is to look after their client’s needs, run smaller and internal projects and manage their busy support system. Speaking to clients and making updates to websites without developer intervention will be the primary focus, along with being responsible for closing down projects.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Support: Administering our support system, liaising with clients, where possible fixing issues yourself or assigning internal or external resource where needed
  • Project managing website builds from initial 'kick off’ meeting through to launch
  • Closing down projects assuring a smooth transition to the support system
  • Internal projects: scoping, quoting and running projects for current clients, typically website refreshes or additional functionality
  • Contract renewals: Negotiating and setting up yearly contract renewals for hosting and support
  • Client management: Along with the support team, being a direct point of contact for clients, and addressing issues and concerns
  • Improving processes: Taking an active role in reviewing and improving systems and processes

Essential experience

  • 1 year or more agency side experience managing website launches
  • Some experience editing a website, manipulating images, a hands on knowledge of WordPress and ideally the ability to take on some basic coding tasks.
  • Experience working directly with customers or clients with the ability to communicate professionally and have an appetite for problem solving
