3rd Line Support Engineer - Fareham - Up to £35,000 + Benefits - Permanent

Are you an effective communicator? Do you have commercial experience within a support role that is client facing? Do you have experience in using and supporting Hyper-V, VMware or Citrix Hyper-Visor platforms, Windows OS hosting and supporting hardware in a multi tenanted, hosted environment? Do you have good working knowledge of Storage Platforms? Are you able to install, configure and support Windows Server 2008 / 2012 topologies and networks and Windows Active Directory?

This 3rd Line Support Engineer will provide the final escalation point to customers by telephone, remote management tools and occasionally on-site support. .

This role would suit someone who has extensive experience in handling customer IT queries and liaising with 3rd parties and customers to provide incident resolution and requests.

Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain key relationships with key staff including Service Desk Supervisor, Technical Services Delivery Manager and all customers
* Providing 3rd line IT support remotely including (but not limited to);
LAN/WAN Troubleshooting
Desktop Support
Server Support - Exchange, VMWare
Storage Systems & managed solutions
Back Up technologies

* Work to ensure all activity aligns with ITIL procedures
* Manage work queues and prioritise events, re-assigning work where and when necessary to ensure compliance with SLA's

Technical Skills desired:
*Citrix XenAPP, XenDesktop, XenMobile, Netscaler, Sharefile
* Microsoft Server, RDS, AD, Lync / Skype for Business, Hyper-V
* VMWare Hypervisor, Networking and associated products
* Networking Cisco, Fortigate and Virtual SDN products
* Backup Veeam, AppAssure
* Storage Dell (including Compellent), HP and leading vendor Storage Area Networks
