I am recruiting for a trusted Hosting Services & Data Back-up Provider based in Wythenshawe. They provide a full range of hosting services to customers large and small in the UK and internationally. The business offers customers multiple-choice hosting and support options to ensure the total protection of their business critical data, information, applications and web & e-commerce sites.
They also provide customer on-premise IT Support, Server Monitoring & Desktop Management services. Located out of their world class Tier-3+ Manchester Data Centre facility and partnering with world class vendors IBM, Microsoft, Citrix, Dell & HP, the business has provided customers with secure, reliable and cost effective Hosting & Data Back-up solutions since 2000, offering a complete range of Hosting Services to satisfy today's variable business needs, including dedicated single-server, Cloud and mobility solutions.

The role:
You will be an experienced sales and marketing professional with a solid track record within outbound business to business sales. Your role will be to maximise the effectiveness of the Sales manager by producing high quality appointments. Working as a team, your primary focus will be the achievement of theirr monthly revenue targets and profit goals. A key part of your role will be to create a level of interest in their services via social media blogs and email marketing campaigns. You will also provide a high level of sales support by ensuring all inbound queries are responded to in an efficient, professional and timely manner.

Main tasks and responsibilities
Obtain qualified sales appointments from sources including telephone directories, email-shot campaigns, internet searches and purchased prospect lists
Effective time management encompassing realistic appointment setting
Use both inbound and outbound prospecting to achieve goals
Develop and deliver a scripted sales pitch to the customer in a none scripted way
Adjust sales pitch where appropriate to meet weekly KPI's
Clearly explain the benefits of their services to potential customers
Handle customer questions and concerns appropriately
Obtain customer information including names and addresses of key decision makers
Populate the CRM with all appropriate customer information
Conduct customer and marketing surveys for analysis where required
Answer telephone calls from potential customers who are responding to advertisements
Manage your pipeline of potential clients and continue to close these appointments throughout the sales month
Attend weekly update meetings to discuss the success of the campaign
Create and manage social media campaigns to illicit interest in products and services
Help develop and manage a weekly email marketing campaign to drive people to their website and gain interest in their services

Education and Experience
Preferably educated to degree level
Previous experience of making high quality sales appointments within the IT industry
Experience with hosted cloud services would be an advantage
Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and strategies
Product knowledge in computing
An experienced marketer and blogger
