The Role: The new Sales Manager will be selling into end users and manufactures in sectors such as aerospace, medical, automotive, petrochemical and food handling. With a focus on new business activities, you will be talking to designers, engineers and procurement departments, with some responsibility also for managing a portfolio of existing accounts and five other sales people. The Company: This well-established firm enjoys a sales turnover approaching £25 million and has aggressive growth plans in place, hence their search for a new Sales Manager in the North of England. They supply specialist surface coatings for friction and corrosion prevention in applications such as drilling and oil extraction, and are firmly in the top three in their marketplace.

For this Sales Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Field sales experience
  • You will ideally have sold coatings into industrial end users and manufacturers
  • Outstanding candidates who have sold different products in to the same marketplace may also be considered
  • Assertive and personable sales managers with plenty of determination will fit in well here
