With a 10 year history of providing first class SME advisory and compliance services as well as an impressive client base of high net worth individuals, this small but well run Huddersfield practice offers a rare opportunity to take on a strategic role.
The Managing Partner has over 25 years experience in top 10 & independent practices across tax advisory and accountancy service lines. Outlining plans for the business they clearly have a client lead approach and are looking to work with someone who also shares similar values.

As Tax Director / Partner of this Huddersfield based boutique firm you will take full responsibility for a portion the existing client base as well as the integration of your own following.
You will work closely with the Managing Partner on maintaining the firm's identity in the market place and further implementing its successful growth strategy over the next 3 years.
You will also take responsibility for a team of 3 junior tax professionals from trainee to 4 years PQE (ATT). Further recruitment will also be on the agenda at the end of the year which you will lead, based on your own assessments of your team and its skills gaps.
Clients are genuinely at the heart of this firm and so significant time will be spent with business owners and high net worth individuals developing relationships and generating new ones.
Apart from being an established practice based tax professional you will be operating at a Manager grade at least and able to demonstrate first class client facing and business development skills.
For existing Tax Director / Partner candidates with a significant client following, business development skills are of lesser importance.
Candidates do not have to be qualified although ATT & CTA qualifications would add to your application. This firm prioritises relationship building and individual personality.
The Tax Director / Partner role can offer a salary of £60,000 to £80,000 depending on experience.
There are also equity remuneration options based on the circumstances of the successful applicant.
