The main focus of this role will include but not be limited to: the qualification of our products and related manufacturing processes. This will require the planning, setup and execution of semiconductor and electronic system reliability testing

Activities that relate to this will include:

Silicon reliability evaluation (HTOL, ESD)

Semiconductor package reliability evaluation (MSL testing, THB, HAST, etc.)

Electronic system reliability evaluation

Supplier process reliability and factory audits

Candidates should have experience of and a thorough understanding of

Basic electronics

Advanced CMOS semiconductor manufacturing processes and failure mechanisms

Flipchip BGA package manufacturing processes and failure mechanisms

Semiconductor test methods and equipment

Semiconductor product reliability evaluation theory and practice (FIT rates, ESD, HTOL, HAST, etc.)

Semiconductor failure analysis techniques

Relevant IT tools such as Word and Excel

Data analysis tools and statistical techniques

Experience of the following would be useful

Embedded systems, Linux, Windows, scripting languages, programming languages (C/C++).
