Working within the Sales & Marketing Excellence team for Canon UK & Ireland, this is an exciting new role responsible for driving and delivering optimised sales effectiveness, efficiency and enablement through Canon's B2B direct field sales organisation.

Using your commercial acumen and subject matter expertise you will work alongside senior Sales, Marketing,Learning and Development (L&D) management and Canon Europe, to shape a 'go to market' strategy that delivers an optimised cost to serve model.

You'll lead the creation and delivery of Integrated Sales & Marketing Business Plans and quantify success through measurable improvements in key sales metrics.

What We Give:
Using your commercial knowledge, insight and influencing skills you will make strategic and tactical business case based recommendations, and collaborate effectively with senior management to shape and ensure fit for purpose sales effectiveness, efficiency and enablement initiatives.

You'll use your excellent communication skills to champion the needs of Direct field based sales across the wider Marketing group and create a sales and marketing collaboration infrastructure to ensure full adoption of optimised sales tools.

You will be directly responsible for the creation of channel specific proposition content and tools.

You'll both project manage and implement incentives, promotions and channel events with a focus on delivering measurable improvements to sales KPI's.

Working with Sales Management and L&D you will create holistic sales skills and knowledge development programmes.

You'll actively track and communicate relevant channel KPI's, identify and share internal and external field sales best practice, and make recommendations for improvement.

What We Ask:
You'll have a proven track record of delivering commercial success within a B2B marketing and/or sales environment and will competently analyse and display data, create insights, develop compelling and viable business cases, and track success.

You'll have competent to advanced PowerPoint and presentation skills and a good understanding of B2B digital and social marketing tools to underpin your excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Working knowledge of Salesforce.com is preferred, but training can be provided.

A full clean driving licence is necessary as travel will be expected

Further Information:

Salary - £38,250 - £47,262 + 5% or 10% Bonus (Depending on Expereince)
