Software Developer - Java 8 Elasticsearch

Looking for a talented software developer to join one of the world leading financial publishers. The this company has multiple business units and the team you will be joining interacts with all of them. They produce over 100 magazines and industry journals globally and are also a market leader in training and development for the financial services sector.

You will be joining their business critical search team. This team sits across all their business unit providing highly complex search applications all built with the latest version of Elasticsearch. They also are the team that is responsible for the development of their Machine Learning platform which involves integrating with multiple Big Data sources. You will get exposure to all this technology!

For this role you will need to be able to demonstrate that you are comfortable with a face paced deployment environment. Technically you will need experience with Java 8, Elasticsearch, REST and Spring. Any exposure to any Big Data tech like Hadoop or Machine Learning tech such as Azure Machine Learning will be nice but by no mean essential (as you will be trained on these).
