One of the globes largest event and conference companies are seeking a Lead Software Engineer (Java) to join their team and drive the development of their next event CMS platform forward. This platform is core to how they do business and sell their conference packages to millions of businesses globally.

This company are in the process of going through a massive digital transformation project and as a Lead Software Engineer (Java) you are in a prime position to have an input into the direction that this company will take. Daily you will be working on a re-deployment to Microservices which are all hosted on AWS, developing new features and also meeting with internal business stakeholders to ensure that their needs are being met in development.

Technically for this role we are looking for someone with full stack experience. The majority of your work will be backend in development so some with extensive Java experience including Spring, Jenkins/Maven and working with Microservices. In regards to frontend someone who has experience with Javascript, HTML and CSS wold be minimum. Exposure to tech such as AWS, Apache, Tomcat or Angular will be a benefit and any work with CMS systems or AEM will be very advantageous!

The package for the right Lead Software Engineer will be a salary up to £75,000 with 15% bonus plus associated benefits. In addition to this there will be paid training with adobe to gain AEM which is an extremely rare skill and will make you highly valued after just are short time with this business.
