Senior Web Analyst - Mobile eCommerce

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a Senior Web Analyst for one of the leading online independent retailers in Europe. You will be an integral member of their analytics team, working in conjunction with the mobile app team to improve both the customer experience and conversion of visit to sale. In addition, you will be working with marketing to understand customer traffic to the App, as well as the wider analytics and data community to better understand business performance drivers across the company, using data to enable key business decisions.

THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the analysis for the App that supports company objectives to deliver growth.
  • Understand customer behaviour and interaction with the app through qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Manage multivariate and A/B testing practices, creating test hypotheses, spectrum management, test design and overseeing their implementation.
  • Communicate test results, conclusions and recommendation to key stakeholders across the business.
  • Identifying opportunities and recommending actions to improve both the customer experience and conversion of visit to sale.
  • Ensuring good quality data is captured and maintained to enable analysis; to include working with developers to define tagging needs and implementation.
  • Support company-wide improvements through a stronger platform of data and development of more sophisticated BI tools and content.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • University degree in a quantitative field, such as economics, mathematics, engineering and finance.
  • Working knowledge of web/app analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Webtrends, etc.
  • Extensive experience of carrying out a/b and multivariate testing.
  • Excellent Excel skills, including tasks such as pivot tables and V-lookups.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience using BI tools, such as Tableau and Microstrategy.

SALARY

If successful in your application you will receive a basic salary ranging from £45,000 to £55,000 + Benefits (depending on your experience).
