Commercial Project Manager
Our client is seeking for driven and experienced Commercial Project Manager to become an integral part of the Property team. Providing essential support to the Project Delivery Team and collaborating with all internal /external stakeholders, to ensure that all capital programmes and projects are carried out to the highest standards. While at the same time being both cost effective and of value to the company.
My Client are a large national out of town retailer with over 300 locations throughout the UK and Ireland. They are currently investing heavily in their existing property portfolio and are also looking to introduce new propositions, where currently they only have a small market share.
The key duties of the Commercial Project Manager will include:
Leading the production of cost plans for new projects including revamps, right sizing and new stores / relocations.
To ensure consistency of service delivery and to identify opportunities for developing both the quality and profitability of the service.
To ensure that control procedures are in place and adhered to in all areas of the UK business.
Assist in providing best practice and continuous improvement within the team.
To be considered for the role of Commercial Project Manager you will need to have/demonstrate-
Retail design and build project management experience, with excess of 5 years PQE and have had previous PQS experience in the retail sector.
Strong leadership and people management skills, able to challenge, coach, motivate and influence clients, suppliers and internal teams.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of property development and funding of projects is a MUST.
Professional qualification of appropriate level (preferred).
A basic salary of £58,000 - £60,000 + Company car & benefits.
