Partnerships Manager

£40,000 - £45,000


This is a brand new opportunity for a progressive, strategic, customer and commercially focussed Marketing Partnerships Manager to join an expanding team in a growing business. The right candidate will be wholly responsible for managing all existing relationships and to develop new lucrative partnerships for the business.

Role responsibilities:

  • To work with the relevant Marketing Managers and their teams to develop new business plans to target new Corporate Partners
  • To lead the operational delivery of that new business partnership plan
  • To manage day to day relationships with key existing corporate partners ensuring the successful activation of their partnership and identifying opportunities for the relationship to develop in the future
  • Specifically to ensure the ongoing successful delivery of the main partnerships with a big well known brand, including overseeing the effective operation and implementation of the Marketing collaterals and their execution to drive high benefit including the customer experience.
  • Attendance at programme meetings and presenting to the partnership team will all feature as part of this important relationship
  • To work with the Marketing Teams to ensure Partner activation messaging is reflected accurately to drive benefit(s)
  • To develop and run Corporate Partners programmes in line with the propositions strategy
  • To act as a senior member of the of the Marketing and wider team, advising and contributing to wider team activity as required


  • Graduate level+, with a strong relationship management background with a significant track record in growing partnerships and exceeding the customer’s expectation
  • Ability to see market opportunities through analytics and gut instinct and then deliver them, ensuring strong disciplines across the team
  • Highly motivated and driven to succeed
  • High intellect, communication, presentational and analytical skills/behaviours
  • Results driven and tenacious, with the ability to think strategically coupled with the ability to deliver profitable growth
  • Commercially astute with excellent communication and presentation skills, able to engage and influence at all levels
  • Confidence, drive, energy, and tenacity to deliver success in a challenging business and market environment
  • An ambassador for the business who will drive the transitions needed with partners to be best in class
  • A resilient and tenacious individual with real strength of character to drive change, but with the emotional intelligence and collaborative approach to result in a positive experience when working with the team(s)
  • The communication skills and gravitas to support, present to and influence internal and external stakeholders but specifically our existing and new partnerships
  • An ambitious individual, motivated to develop themselves and others
  • A candidate who has solid account management and product marketing experience specifically; above the line advertising, events and brand content skills as well as a good eye for product, to help us drive our brands forward
  • Creative thinking, with experience of campaign management and the ability to multi-task while keeping focus on the commercial bigger picture to deliver customer performance improvements are all pre-requisite skills and behaviours required
  • The successful candidate will be part of a larger team consisting of Buyers and Marketers
  • The ability to build strong relationships across the business, and with third parties is essential and working closely with various external and internal stakeholders is critical to success. These will include our expert internal teams: business intelligence, digital, buying, and our creative studio. But more importantly, these will include visiting multi-national companies and bodies whilst developing educational knowledge through links to schools and the wider sport, specialist and educational marketplace
