Key responsibilities

  • Working closely with technical and sales colleagues to provide pre and post sales consultancy services.

  • Being a technical 'product champion’ and key contact for partners and customers.

  • Carry out technical presentations, product demonstrations and proof of concept / PoC activities.

  • Advise on and/or support product installation / commissioning / integration.

  • Deliver training for colleagues, partners and customers.

  • Provide professional services e.g. for customers with specific configuration / policy / reporting requirements.

  • Provide input to company management team on technical issues influencing the achievement of business objectives.

Required Profile / Skills / Experience

  • At least 5 years hands-on technical experience with information / cyber security products, preferably Bluecoat (or other web proxy solution).

  • A good general understanding of information security and network principles and technologies e.g. Cisco / Fortinet / Palo Alto Networks / f5 Networks / Fortinet

  • Good interpersonal skills, teamwork ethos and customer facing experience (pre-sales experience would be advantageous but not mandatory as coaching can be provided).

  • Strong attention to detail and confidence in presenting technical concepts.

  • A passion to effectively absorb and apply advanced technology knowledge e.g. cross-train on new technologies.

  • Relevant qualifications / accreditations are preferable e.g. Degree or equivalent / CISSP / CCNA Security

  • Full driving licence. Able and happy to travel UK wide as required, including the City of London.

  • Confidence in ability to gain company sponsored UK government security clearance / SC if required.
