This organisation is a leading medical research firm based near Ringwood, right in the centre of the South Coast. Due to continual growth they are looking to now in a position to add a mid- or senior level Software Engineer with a high degree of OO C# knowledge to support their team
Your new role
You'll be working on truly meaningful projects for a scientific development company involved in building instruments that work towards the prevention of diseases.
The role suits a mid-level developer with a deep knowledge of Object oriented programming as a concept. The team is stable and the right candidate will be comfortable performing BAU work and may have an interest in Artificial Intelligence, Image Processing, Optics, GPU Processing and Motion Control Systems. There is no offshoring and no outsourcing, all the R&D is done under one roof. Developers are empowered and encouraged to be accountable for delivering things beyond software (through source control to production).
The progression opportunities are great as the company move from start-up to mid-size and have plans to double the technical team twice over the next 18 months.
What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you have 4+ years commercial experience working with C# and are comfortable working in a Windows desktop environment.
Ideally you will have a Computer Science degree or comparable and will have commercial experience implementing software design patterns, OO design, multi-threading, and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF). Any knowledge of UI/UX flows will be a huge benefit.
To flourish in the team it is essential you are a strong communicator and encourage knowledge sharing.
