Business Development Manager
£16,000 + Commission
Shifts: 9am-5pm - no weekends!

My client and associated companies are family run businesses, they specialise in the manufacturing and distribution of their extensive range of electrical and communication products to the electrical market.
They know that customer satisfaction is paramount to their success, which in turn drives them to give their customers the excellent service they deserve.

The Role:
"New Business & Sales Development
"Account Management
"Wholesalers Only (currently)
"LGA cover UK & Ireland - Area is split into 2
"Liaise with agents for the area, copy/advise them of conversations and they will call in
"Speak to the buyers and log conversations - approximately 40 x calls a day are expected
"Speak to existing customers and advise of special offers / promotions
"Send mailshots
"Obtain leads and covert into new business
"Create more stockists of the Selectric Brand - if not a stockist, advise them how if they purchase a 'suggested stock profile' they would benefit for special rates etc
"Update a daily log of calls
"Calculate and provide quotes

"Excellent Customer Service Skills
"Ability to communicate at all levels
"Use of database and computer systems (word & excel)
"Good time management and organisational skills
