The Role

This is a very exciting time to join CarShop. They are recruiting a Junior Analyst so they can ensure they are investing in the future talent of CarShop. As part of a team of great analysts your role will be to research, check, collate and prepare information for reports and system uploads. It also involves analysis of all information collated and preparation of reports for the management team. There is also an administration element to this role where you will support other members of the team with administration.

What you will be doing?

The job is a real analyst role. It involves interrogation of a variety of systems and databases to obtain information which will then need to be filtered, checked and analysed before preparing reports and recommendations. It involves comparing vehicles on AutoTrader with their own stock levels and making recommendations on stock and pricing as well as updating a variety of systems and databases.

The obvious choice for you would be to progress into a senior analyst role. Once you have achieved this who knows where you could go. Take Darren Evans for instance: Darren started the company 4 years ago as an agency worker de-masking cars. Within a very short space of time Darren then took over as Workshop Production Controller and is now Compound Manager. Darren is making the most of the training and development provided by CarShop and has recently completed our Rising Stars programme so theres no stopping him now. What CarShop think good looks like

As with most jobs at CarShop they would like you to have an interest and passion in what they do. You must have a can-do attitude and a passion for cars. Flexibility will also be important and you will need to be self-motivated and driven to get through your apprenticeship. You will also need to have a keen eye for detail and excellent excel and spreadsheet skills to n intermediate level. If you have these as well as the right attitude CarShop will teach you the rest.
