Retail Sales Consultant

(Luxury Interior Furnishings Concession)

Based: Harvey Nichols (Knightsbridge, SW1X)

£20k Basic + Commission

40 Hour week (inc: weekends)


Our client is one of the largest designer furniture and lifestyle houses in the UK. With over 700 brands, they provide a one stop service where designers and clients can get together and bring their ideas to life (from high end appliances to luxury soft furnishings).

They are currently expanding and have an exciting opportunity for a self motivated Brand Ambassador to join the team. This role will be based in the one of the most prestigious Luxury department stores in the world; Its flagship store is based in Knightsbridge.


Our client works with a number of high end European brands and is looking for someone to manage the concession that has an interest in luxury furniture and a proven track record for achieving sales targets.

This role would suit an individual looking to establish a career within high value furniture sales in a design related environment.

It is essential that you have previous experience in high end retail sales. The role requires a confident team player who understands the importance of achieving sales/profit targets whilst delivering great customer service.

The successful applicant will be driven and self-motivated, able to achieve individually whilst being a supportive team member as you contribute to the overall success of the Harvey Nichols partnership.

You must be highly organized, with the ability to maintain a responsive follow-up schedule.

It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication/interpersonal skills as well as the ability to connect and establish relationships with a diverse group of customers.

Required Skills:

  • Current and relevant experience within a similar role
  • Positive and engaging personality, with a creative flare and energetic attitude
  • Good organisational skills and a proactive team player
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal
  • The ability to reach out to clients and entice them to visit the concession
  • The ability to demonstrate great team work
  • Self-motivated with an ambition to develop and succeed
