IT Support Manager/Service Delivery Manager - Stockport, Greater Manchester - Up to £34,000. A rapidly growing financial services firm of c. 100 users is looking for a bright and motivated senior support specialist to oversee the IT function based in their Stockport office.

As their first internal IT professional your primary responsibilities will be to manager their external IT Support provider and the 3rd party vendor. In addition to that you will be providing onsite and remote support to the internal users, including managing project work such as upgrades and an office relocation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of the infrastructure and ensuring the IT requirements of the business are met, supported by the external IT Support team when required. Duties will include 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support of all systems including hardware, software, network and some bespoke applications.

In order to be suitable for this position you will have experience working in an SME as an IT Support Engineer, standalone IT Manager or similar role with proven 1st - 3rd line technical support experience. It is essential to have broad technical knowledge including networking (protocols / routers / switches), firewalls, server hardware (Windows), Windows operating systems, Active Directory and Office 365.
