Our client is a young, professional and fast-growing company. They are now looking for an IT Support Technician to join their small and friendly team.
Based in the UK office in Ashford, Kent; the successful candidate will contribute to the continued realisation of further ambitious company growth objectives. They will be a key contact person for customers in the UK & Ireland working closely within a small team and reporting into the country manager, while liaising with colleagues in the European head office.
Duties & Responsibilities
? Handling in-bound and out-bound customer support requests via telephone and email
? Remotely access customers computers to resolve software issues using "TeamViewer"
? Co-ordinate and perform follow-up of all customer after-sales questions with regards to technical functionalities of the product range
? Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing customers
The Ideal Candidate must possess
? A good telephone manner is essential
? Experience in an IT related B2B support role
? Experience using TeamViewer access programs or similar
? A Pro-active, team orientated attitude
? Strong communication skills both via telephone and email
? Office applications like Excel, Word
? ERP system, Accountview knowledge
? Remote access programs like Teamviewer
Network skills and knowledge
? Retrieve IP address (ping)
? VPN, Port forwarding, etc.
? Setting up a local network
? Basic SQL knowledge
