Application Support Analyst

£18,000 - £21,000



The Opportunity

This is the chance for an Application Support Analyst to join a rapidly expanding software company who work on an innovative end to end system used for research. They currently have no competitors in the UK and are expanding in to European and American markets. They have won funding for a project that is funded by the EU commission and are set to compete with the big players in America in software research.

The Role

The Applications Support Analyst will be responsible for working directly with customers, logging and managing calls on technical issues during deployment and for ongoing technical issues. The Application Support Analyst will work closely with the development and operations teams to resolve issues on the platform as well as liaising with third party companies in order to resolves issues. The Application Support Analyst will also be involved in delivering user-facing training activities for the software solutions.

Skills / Experience

  • Hands-on experience of user support and service management
  • Experience of providing IT support, ideally in a helpdesk environment
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Experience of support in line with ITIL best practices
  • Experience of support in the context of a broader Quality Management System.
  • Experience of support delivery in a regulated, technology based environment
