Service Desk Analyst / IT Support Analyst

A Service Desk Analyst / IT Support Analyst is required to join a large organisation in East Grinstead on an initial two-year fixed term contract and be part of their busy technical service desk. The Service Desk Analyst / IT Support Analyst will be working in an ITIL environment and will be encouraged to resolve technical issues to improve their first time fix rate.

The Service Desk Analyst / IT Support Analyst will be working as part of a technical Service Desk responsible for supporting users across multiple sites in a 1st and 2nd line capacity. You will be supporting users via email and telephone with occasional deskside support and will have escalation routes of the 2nd/3rd line teams available to you.

The Service Desk Analyst / IT Support Analyst will need to show commercial experience in a support role with knowledge of following:

  • Active Directory
  • Windows Operating Systems 7/10
  • Microsoft Office 2010 / 365
  • Outlook
  • iPhone / iPad / Android - Mobile support
  • Telephone systems
  • Service Desk Tools
  • Citrix knowledge is highly desirable

The Service Desk Analyst / IT Support Analyst will be encouraged to take ownership of calls and have the opportunity to progress your technical knowledge through internal and external training. It is imperative that the Service Desk Analyst / IT Support Analyst has excellent communication skills.
