Relationship Manager - Lending

An established and national lender are seeking a Relationship manager to join their growing team.

As a Relationship Manager you will be required to pro actively create and develop business opportunities with both new and existing clients and stakeholders in order to generate additional business and to enhance key stakeholder / direct relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Work effectively with the divisional directors within the business to identify new growth opportunities and provide strategic advice that will increase profitability of the division.
  • Responsible for Key stakeholder development, working with the wider business to maximise business potential from each stakeholder relationship.
  • Create, Lead, manage, review and evaluate on a Stakeholder Management Strategy.
  • Develop strong working relationships with the divisional sales team, including wider staff members to enhance identification of business opportunities.
  • Development of introduced business and direct relationships by visiting and liaising with key partners and direct clients.
  • Present regularly at meetings to a variety of stakeholders including the board, divisional directors, and senior managers across the Group and the division.
  • Service existing client & stakeholder relationships.
  • Where applicable identify restructuring opportunities for non-performing loans and liaise with the wider divisional sales team and other members of staff to have them implemented.
  • Identify any potential non-performing loans to the divisional directors with a restructuring plan.
  • Operate as a team player within the Property Finance division and wider Company to ensure that all service standards and targets are consistently delivered.
  • Follow company policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements

  • Experience within a similar position in the Lending market.
  • Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications.
  • Hands on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages.
  • Strong initiative with excellent problem solving skills.
  • Good team player and able to work on own initiative.
  • Proven ability of establishing strong, effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Strong organisation, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency and dedicated work ethic.
  • Ability to think logically in challenging and diverse situations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight regulatory and internal deadlines.
