Helpdesk Analyst/ 1st Line Support

A leading technology services provider is looking for a personable and customer focused Helpdesk Analyst/1st Line support Analyst to join a team in which future career opportunities are likely to be available to ambitious and tech savvy individuals.

In this role you will provide the first point of technical support for business users and your role will mostly be based on site in Reading. This business has a very large technical team and multiple sites in Surrey/London. Therefore from time to time the successful candidate will have the opportunity to broaden their skills by working on other sites and customer projects.

Suitable candidates must have some previous experience in a technical support role. Due to the requirement to travel on occasion, a drivers licence and transport are also a necessity. Your technical skills will need to include the support of Microsoft desktop operating systems and the related applications such as MS Office, Exchange/Outlook and the management of users and groups in Active Directory. You will also have experience diagnosing and escalating more complex incidents.
