Our client are seeking a Service Desk Manager to join their busy team based in Guildford. This role will require the individual to coordinate all activities of the service desk to ensure high standards are kept at all times. The individual should be a driver due to company location and visits to other sites will be required also.


  • Analysis of business needs
  • Coordination of all activities of the service desk
  • Implementation of a ticket resolution system
  • Reviewing of third party supplier agreements
  • Maintaining escalated issues such as hardware or software problems

Knowledge Required / Personal Qualities:

  • Experience working with third party suppliers
  • Experience with contract negotiations in regards to hardware and software
  • Works well under pressure
  • Team player
  • Flexible in regards to approach and working hours

Technical Abilities:

  • Telephonic (SIP / VOIP / Skype for Business)
  • Windows Server (DFS / Profile redirection / Network shares and permissions)
  • SQL report writing
  • Microsoft SharePoint
  • Microsoft System Centre 2012 (PXE / SCCM / SCSM)
  • Windows 7 / 8 / 10
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • Domain Administration (AD / GPO / DNS / DHCP)
  • System experience of PAS / EMR / CRM

Working Hours:

  • Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30pm
