IT Support Engineer

I am working with a client looking to expand their IT team by employing a talented and enthusiastic 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer.

The ideal candidate will have some commercial experience working on a Service Desk/Helpdesk for an MSP or a company's in-house infrastructure.
You will be self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies and skills.

It is important that you are able to take ownership of a problem and work to resolve using own initiative and skills. Working to company SLA's, it is will be important to realise when a problem requires escalating to the next level of support.

Responsibilities will include:

*Desktop support and maintenance
*Create and maintain Mailboxes
*PC Build Installation.
*Software installation and configuration
*Account Management and FTP Service
*Printer Setup and Maintenance

You will be able to demonstrate a practical understanding of the following areas and technologies:

*PC's, Laptops, Mobile Phones repair, build and deploy.
*Customer Service, User Support.
*Service Desk Systems
*Fault diagnosis, investigation and resolution.
*Active Directory,
*MAS Deployment Toolkit, MS Exchange, WS Update Services.
*Printers & Print Servers
*File Systems, DFS, AD Security, Exchange Administration
*Anti-virus & Desktop Email Services

It would be beneficial to have experience with the following:

*Cisco, HP, Dell, Storage
*Remote Support (VPN)
*Data Comms, WiFi, Encryption
*MAC OS, Android OS, iOS.
