An established technology company is looking for a bright and IT Support Engineer / Desktop Support Analyst as part of a small technical team based in the Wimbledon area, South West London (commutable from parts of South London, Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire).

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the infrastructure for a portfolio of SME clients. Duties will include 1st, 2nd and some 3rd line support of all systems including hardware, software, network and large business applications.

In order to be suitable for this position you will have experience working in a Helpdesk Engineer, Service Desk Analyst, Desktop Support Analyst, IT Support Engineer or similar role with proven 1st, 2nd and some 3rd line technical support experience, preferably in an MSP (client facing) environment. It is essential to have broad technical knowledge including Windows OS, MS Office, hardware, Anti-Virus, Firewalls and networking (VPN, VLANs, routers, setting up WiFi Access points). The ideal candidate will also have some experience of Windows Server, Exchange Server, virtualisation (VMWare / Hyper-V), Cloud services, Office 365 and Mac, although these are not essential.
