Front of House / Facilities Assistant

Responsible for undertaking a range of duties and to assist with administration tasks to ensure that clients receive high standards of overall service

Job Description:

  • Carrying out agreed security procedures
  • Managing lighting at the beginning and at the end of the day
  • Maintaining the coffee machines, checking stock levels throughout the day
  • Checking cloakrooms and restock as required
  • Changing light bulbs and monitor stock levels
  • Checking and managing the residents lounge area
  • Ensuring all main kitchen crockery are thoroughly clean for use for meetings
  • Monitoring and emptying the shredder
  • Assisting with waste management
  • Preparing meeting rooms in accordance with client needs
  • Monitoring stocks of consumables and advising when re-ordering is required
  • Assisting other team members with various tasks as and when required
  • Providing refreshments for visitors
  • Occasional covering of reception and completing administrative tasks

Person Specification:

  • Hospitality and customer facing experience is vital
  • Attention to detail and presentation of building/meeting rooms is paramount
  • Able to communicate in a friendly and appropriate manner with clients and colleagues
  • Projecting a positive and professional image
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Prepared to assist in any area when required
  • Must be happy do carry out the physical part of this role with lifting tables and chairs etc

Additional Information:

  • Based in Leatherhead
  • £18,000 - £20,000
  • Mon - Fri, 7.30am - 3.30pm (must be flexible to suit business needs)
  • 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Pension scheme
