My software vendor client have developed innovative health survey solutions and have grown to become the UK’s leading health survey software and solutions company.

Their solutions automate the process of creating, deploying and analysing audits and surveys; speeding up the collection of data, improving accuracy and providing real-time reporting for effective governance for our critically important NHS Trusts.

You will be required to support their clients who are using their application via email, telephone calls and some external customer visits occasionally once up to speed.

Support may include answering questions, troubleshooting problems, teaching or instructing regarding the use of their software or may involve hardware functionality. Additionally, it may involve troubleshooting printer issues and resolving difficulties with scanners or other product related hardware. This will be done through telephone, email & social media where applicable, and the use of remote access software where permitted by customers to help rectify issues that are environmental or cannot be reproduced in house.

This post would ideally suit a graduate or college diploma educated IT centric individual with 2 years commercial experience ideally doing application support running on the following technologies;-

  • Exceptional knowledge of computer hardware, including desktops\laptops, servers, varying mobile devices.

  • Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards.

  • Deep-seated experience with Microsoft desktop and server operating systems, both historically and present.

  • This position requires handling confidential information in an appropriate manner. Customer interactions must be handled with diplomacy and tact. Individuals must be able to gauge the customer's technical ability and communicate with them in appropriate technical or non-technical language in a non-condescending manner.
