The Company:
Our client is a grower and importer of hardy nursery stock supplying the wholesale landscape and garden design sector throughout London and the south of England. They have been established for over 28 years and have developed a reputation for producing the highest quality specimen trees and shrubs.

Job Description:
The position of Sales Manager will be to take responsibility for managing the nursery sales, organise deliveries and liaise with customers.

Duties would include:
• Sales targeting and planning
• Responsibility for achieving those sales targets
• Overseeing all day to day sales of the nursery and organising the delivery schedule.
• Stock control and ensuring the stock record is up to date.
• Making sure the website, social media and plant catalogue are current and up to date
• liaising with outside contractors

Key Skills:
We seek candidates who have proven experience in horticultural sales and purchasing as well as good knowledge of European suppliers. Good plant knowledge as well as the ability to multi task and deal with customers from a variety of industries is essential. The position will be primarily office based but the successful candidate will make regular client visits.

It is important that candidates have excellent customer skills, and are able to build strong working relationships. Good IT skills are also important.
