The successful candidate will be part of the finance team of a leading global investment firm that manages a diverse portfolio across the globe. The individual will be responsible for the day to day processing and reporting of payroll matters across a number of legal entities.

Key Criteria

  • Detailed knowledge and experience preparing and processing monthly Payrolls across multi geographical locations
  • Excellent Excel / I.T. skills.
  • Previous experience of uploading complex journals into General Ledger/Accounting systems.
  • Detail orientated.

Desirable Criteria

  • Knowledge of ADP or Liberata Payroll Software.
  • Knowledge of SAP or a similar accounting system.
  • Experience business partnering with internal executives and external service providers.


  • Preparing and processing 4 UK Limited entity payrolls.
  • Preparing and processing 7 UK LLP Payrolls.
  • Preparing and processing 5 overseas payrolls
  • Uploading monthly payroll data into the Firms accounting system (SAP)
  • Detailed monthly payroll reconciliations.
  • Creating on-line payments for senior Finance executives to approve in relation to overseas payrolls.
  • Assisting with the implementation of a new payroll system (ADP).
  • Assisting with the implementation of a new benefits system.
  • Working closely with all members of Finance, HR, External Benefit providers and outsourced payroll providers.
  • Using advanced Excel formulas and functions to improve efficiencies.
  • Assisting in monitoring and improving financial processes, controls and procedures.
  • Updating of Comp Databases and Audit Schedules.

Candidate Profile

  • Prior Payroll experience 4+ years working within a financial services / regulated environment or large multinational.
  • Excellent Excel / I.T. skills.
  • Strong analytical, numerical and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately.
  • Championing innovation and leading effective change.
