Head of Content and Social media - Midlands
A standout opportunity that comes along every so often to join an industry leading organisation in shaping, owning and directing the digital content and social media strategy.
First and foremost you'll be a creative, engaging and an experienced digital content and social specialist with a passion for all things digital. You'll be experienced and proven in developing cutting edge digital information across content and social media. This role will allow you to stamp your mark on a national favourite retailer and influence the strategy and vision of the company.
Within the customer strategy and comms team as the head of content and social media you'll lead a sizeable team of around 13 social media and content experts. You'll be current with digital content knowing what works, what doesn't and constantly stay current with the way the digital landscape and social media industry is going. You'll know how to optimise the strategy to be customer focused and extremely engaging. This role is not for the faint hearted and requires someone to give their all and prove themselves at the highest level.
Responsibilities will include:
- Social and content strategy.`
- Lead and develop the team, ensuring you keep abreast of technology changes, testing and learning before implementation.
- Plan and deliver social media campaigns, ensuring reach, customer acquisition, engagement and ROI.
- Chanel and content strategy, decide what content goes where, and what type of content should surface, end to end customer experience.
- Management of agencies.
This opportunity would suit an experienced and proven digital specialist who already lead on social media and content campaigns. Based in the Midlands this role is commutable from Derby, Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham, Sheffield, Leeds and would even suit someone willing to relocate from London.
Competitive package on offer with salary between £70,000- 80,000 and other benefits on top.
