VOIP Engineer / VOIP Project Engineer - Linux - Asterisk - OpenSource
Exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding VoIP systems integrator / service provider as a Project Engineer in the Professional Services team. This is an innovative company utilising open source technology, leading the way with hosted telephony, Asterisk PBX and Call Centre solutions.
They are winning contracts hand-over-fist and subsequently need two more capable VoIP Engineers for project work. This is a client facing position where you will be involved in the full end-to-end solution deployment including project planning, preparation of low-level designs and deployment work from the OS build through to configuration and go-live. You will also act as an escalation point (3rd line) for complex troubleshooting.

Experience of VoIP project work / solution deployments
Ability to interact with clients/customers - working with them to understand and define requirements
Ability to produce low-level solution designs for SME and enterprise level customers
Strong Linux skillset - ability to install, configure and troubleshoot Linux
Strong understanding of SIP protocols
Good understanding of network fundamentals - Routing, Switching and Firewalls
Experience with Asterisk and/or Kamalio, (or BroadSoft or other similar OpenSource technology) and/or Genesys PureCloud
Understanding of virtualisation (ideally VMWare)
Several opportunities available paying between £40,000 - £55,000 + benefits depending on experience.
Great location in London’s South West (accessible from most of London and surrounds).
