As a Product Support Analyst, you will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of product and point of sale documentation. Responsible for the maintenance and quality management of electronically traded business, MID interface processes/failures and provide operational support to the business.
Conduct root cause analysis of all EDI / MID failures, ensuring full resolution is achieved
Identify and resolve business user issues on internal systems to ensure they are operating correctly and efficiently on a day to day basis
Assist in the delivery of departmental procedures and ensure they are maintained/updated on a regular basis
Maintain knowledge of industry standards and market intelligence regarding product distribution and operation of products at point of sale.
Develop and maintain required test plans/scripts and execute in appropriate test environments.
Liaise with Software Houses, brokers and outsourced providers to activate and/or deactivate EDI products, changes to the functionality of existing products, test requirements and any error resolution.
Provide operational support to all relevant business areas on EDI related issues, including all key stakeholders
Support the maintenance of the group electronically traded product range on external and internal system platforms
Distribute the product specifications within the required timescales in respect of the rate change process
Produce project status reports/matrices to demonstrate progress on performance targets within agreed timescales
Maintain the group product specification and point of sale documentation libraries, incorporating a fully auditable sign-off process
Essential Skills: EDI experience or an individual who has previous insurance experience.
