Do you have excellent knowledge of Asphalt and Aggregate?

If so, FM Conway are currently seeking an out of hours night work Co-ordinator who is able to utilise their knowledge and distribution skills to maintain high standards and continuous improvement.

Office options - Sevenoaks, Erith or Heathrow.

As an Asphalt and Aggregate Co-ordinator your primary responsibility is to manage our dispatch and production teams to achieve excellence and continual improvement both in terms of capability, efficiency and service throughout our OOH supplies.

You will also be required to maintain supply planned performance, oversee dispatch & site activities whilst optimising the OOH facilities and customer liaison.

It is essential that you have proven experience of distribution and coordination as this will enable you to act as the primary contract for any of the night issues around our supply capabilities and customer requirements.

Other responsibilities include:

  • To co-ordinate and act as a conduit for key decisions and support in the event of a plant, site, supply failure on the night and ensure sufficient and safe completion of all supply requirements.

  • To oversee the OOH performance of all vehicles and ensure FMC resources are fully utilised and performance managed.

  • To facilitate and produce a nightly performance report to be issued at the completion of all works to agreed distribution groups.

  • To produce both regular and ad-hoc reports on performance for the company’s management and Board.

  • To ensure any critical issues are highlighted, to include timely and accurate incident reporting.

  • To undertake regular liaison with internal and external customers as required.

  • To form part of the analysis of the workforce to provide for succession planning and to support this process by ensuring the continuous development of skills and other training.

  • Robust operational asphalt and aggregates knowledge

  • Previous experience working within a distribution or coordination environment

  • Individual thinker capable of actively contributing to the delivery of team performance.
