Digital Sales Assistant Manager

My client are a leading Energy/Utilities provider who are investing heavily in their capabilities across digital. They have a growing number of digital customers and are committed to consistently providing them with best-in-class service. As such they are growing their digital sales team and are seeking bright, enthusiastic individuals who can contribute to maximising the digital sales conversion, improving customer satisfaction, achieving sales targets, and delivering innovation.

• Shaping, developing, and delivering a series of value based digital sales initiatives to improve profitability within the business.
• Define requirements and contribute to the Solution Design during the Agile development process, fulfilling the product owner role.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to build how a journey comes together regarding online sales.
• Continuously review web analytics data to understand customer pain points to optimise core sales funnels.
• Bring innovation into digital sales capabilities and ensure these are integrated into the business.

• Experience working in a digital sales environment.
• Understanding of sales optimisation/conversion, with the ability to make decisions based on data coming from digital channels.
• Enthusiastic, highly-motivated attitude with a desire to improve a business’s digital sales processes and customer experiences.
• Stakeholder management experience and ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Composed, focused and strategic style of working with ability to solve problems under pressure.

There are various roles open with these responsibilities, and as such the business is keen to see people from all backgrounds, whether analytics, web content, marketing etc. They are willing to provide training in areas where an individual needs support.

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 basic + bonus, benefits
Location: M4 corridor
