Role: Telecoms Fibre Installation Engineer
Location: London/South East regions
Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 with company vehicle, and other flexible benefits

IntaPeople are currently recruiting for a Fibre Engineer to cover the London/South East region. The role is to lead in the Installation of Passive and Active Fibre Optic Infrastructure, working with, and mentoring an assistant. We are looking for someone who is has previous experience of working on Fibre Installations and working on public highways/development sites. This is a home-based position to work in the London and Greater London areas.

Key Responsibilities:
• Work safely at all times wearing relevant PPE that is supplied.
• Install and commission Fibre Infrastructure as instructed, ensuring that all work is undertaken to a high standard of safety and technical quality by following all appropriate generic and specific method statements, work procedures and safety instructions
• Accept delivery of plant and materials and check fitness for purpose prior to use
• Ensure vehicles, plant and equipment remain in good condition, and report any defects to the Regional Construction Manager
• Complete site specific risk assessments on a daily basis and ensure maintenance of a safe working environment
• Attend toolbox talks and other training courses as required
• Record accurately details of work undertaken
• Submit relevant work details for recording and invoicing in the required timescale
• Any other duties as deemed appropriate by the Construction Management team that fall within the general experience scope of the individual.

• Experience in a construction or utilities role, with experience of working on sites or public highways
• Experience of installing fibre cables
• CSCS card and ideally NRSWA
• Mentoring and assistant
• Individuals must have a full UK driving license and be willing to travel.

Field Engineer Job Summary -
• Fulltime - 40 hours per week Monday to Friday (overtime and on-call rota dependant)
• Salary - Up to £38,000 DOE with excellent benefits
