Capital Networks Ltd has an opportunity for a customer focused dynamic 1st line - 3rd line network support engineer to join a successful ICT business.

The successful candidate will join a team of engineers who support a multitude of clients across the Wirral and country wide. Approximately 90% of works will be based in our Wirral office using remote support tools diagnosing and resolving ICT issues for our contract customers.

Daily duties will include the following: -

  • Providing remote and on-site technical support assisting users with various IT issues.
  • Installing, maintaining and troubleshooting third party software products.
  • Installing new equipment such as desktop computers, laptops, tablets and mobile phones.
  • Installing and supporting Horizon VOIP telephony systems (training given)
  • Assisting with various project works, CAT5 installations, new server installations, Office 365 projects.

The suitable candidate would preferably have at least 2 years’ experience working as an IT Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer or similar role with proven 1st line technical support. It is essential to have broad technical knowledge including networking, hardware, Active Directory, Office 365, Windows 7, Windows 10, Server 2012 (general administration), Virtualisation Hyper V. Must have a full UK driving license.

The pay scale for this exciting opportunity is between £19,000 to £20,000 per anum.
