Premium Credit is the leading insurance premium finance company in the UK and Ireland. We are now looking for an IT Incident Manager to join our team.

As the IT Incident Manager, you’ll oversee Premium Credit’s incident management process and ensure that system and service downtime is minimised.

Joining a collaborative team, you will monitor systems and alerts, assess situations, make interventions and direct and facilitate resolutions. You’ll ensure that any issues are escalated to the appropriate members of the Service Delivery, Resolution and Service Management Teams.

Additionally, you will:

- Manage the rapid response to major incidents and problems
- Minimise the adverse impact on business operations
- Investigate any issues in-line with SLAs
- Analyse system failures and identify ways to reduce future incidents
- Manage vendors
- Support wider IT operations as required
- Assist with the functional testing of IT change activities

To be considered, you’ll need:

- Substantial experience of successfully managing major incidents
- Experience of incident management, service management and business continuity
- Proven vendor management experience
- An understanding of project management principles
- The ability to lead a team to resolve major incidents

Our ideal IT Incident Manager will have knowledge of IT infrastructure, including hardware, databases, operating systems and local area networks. A broad understanding of IT concepts and architectures would also be beneficial, as would experience of using footprints. An ITIL qualification would be equally favourable.
