An exciting opportunity has become available for a Business Analyst - IT / ERP to join a well-established, successful company with around 650 employees in 11 countries.

You will report directly into their Group IS Manager and play a key role, interfacing to the business across all divisions and countries.

You must have experience of ERP - Any systems is fine, SAP, M3, JD Edwards, MS - Dynamics etc. At least as a 'user’. Ideally you’ll have experience in a BA role, supporting the business using an ERP package.

Job Purpose for the Business Analyst - IT / ERP:

Responsible for understanding and interpreting business process needs in the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Business systems. Design test plans to ensure the system is meeting the business needs. Design processes to facilitate intergration between applications through creative and lateral thinking.

Key Responsibilities for the Business Analyst - IT/ ERP will include:

Proposing system solutions to the needs of colleagues in relation to their business processes, helping to identify and resolve root cause problems.

Define Business requirements in a functional specification and align these with the capabilities of the Systems available endeavouring to ensure a Group wide single solution.

Identify and develop improvements to system capability, working with the Business and Systems teams to propose solutions.

Work with Business Process owners through the change process, ensuring education and training completed to deliver successful projects.

Skills / Experience of the Business Analyst - IT / ERP, will include:

Strong background in IT. Not necessarily as a technical expert. But you must have worked as a BA between the business and IT department.

You must have experience of ERP - Ideally with experience as a BA helping the business get best use of an ERP system. But even experience as a 'user’ of an ERP system would be fine.

Effective verbal and written communication skills with a diverse audience.

Ability to simplify complex systems.

Knowledge of business analysis techniques e.G. ITIL, Prince2, Agile Scrum etc.
